I love this coffee pot. It has a nice, modern look that goes well with the other appliances in my kitchen. It brews hot, great tasting coffee. I also love that their is no carafe to deal with. The only downside is it does take some practice to learn how to pour the water in without spilling it on the counter but it's really not that difficult. I also had the old version (without the stainless steel plate on the front) and it lasted about 4.5 years and made great coffee the whole time.
This is a terrific coffee maker. We bought another one for a back-up, but we haven't needed it so far. We use it every day, and it works great. It's nice not having to clean a carafe. We're on our fourth year with this one. Clean it out once in a while with some white vinegar, and you'll be pleased at the durability and ease of use.
This is an excellent coffee machine. We would recomend it to anyone going to buy a coffee pot.
It is brighter than a night light. Coffee tasted and smelled like plastic. I cleaned the new coffee maker four times buy running white vinegar and hot water through it. I swear there were planes circling the house looking for the runway until I unplugged the coffee maker. I guess I should have expected that since the coffee container is entirely made of plastic; not glass like the pot I use to use. Also, the clock on the maker has a bright. green background. Well, it went back. Black tape would have fixed the night light but who wants plastic tasting coffee.
The coffee was undrinkable. I tried vinegar, descalers, new filters.
It has lasted me almost 5 years, which is longer than any other coffee maker I have ever had. I have just had to throw away my brewstation.
All of the sudden it had this really bitter flavor to the coffee. Of course the price was much higher to.
It has always run perfect, no leaks, no problems, till the flavor. Nothing helped.
Anyone else have this problem.
